Your Gift at Work
Roadrunner Club members have a big impact on more than 300 student-athletes. All contributions go towards providing the necessary resources for our student-athletes to compete at the highest level — both in the classroom and in competition. Annual giving is critical for student-athlete support in pursuit of our four pillars. Below is a look at your impact during the 2022-23 year!
2022-23 CSUB Athletics Highlights
Academic Excellence
- 17 semesters in a row with a 3.0 GPA
- Wrestler Mateo Morales named NWCA Scholar All-American Honors
- 141 Roadrunners with a 3.2 GPA or higher
- 21 Roadrunners with a 4.0 GPA
Outstanding Student-Athlete Experience
- $2 million state-of-the-art women's locker room enhancements
- Hosted the annual ROWDYs awards ceremony celebrating athletic and academic achievement
Competitive Success
- Women's basketball defeated the #1 seed while advancing to Big West Conference semifinals
- Track and Field claimed four podium spots, including Miranda Miller winning back-to-back pole vault championships
Community Engagement
- Student-athletes volunteered more than 1,400 hours of community service
- Reintroduced the 48th annual Cal State Bakersfield Spring BBQ
