The College of Arts and Humanities provides students with broad artistic and humanistic knowledge as well as transferable skills that are useful for a variety of professions. Our college has more than 100 highly-qualified faculty members teaching in seven departments: Art and Art History, Communications, English, History, Modern Languages and Literatures, Music and Theatre, and Philosophy and Religious Studies. M.A. programs are also available in English, History, and Spanish. Gifts that are made to the College of Arts and Humanities provide funding for key initiatives. These initiatives include supporting student research, community engagement, new academic and student enrichment programs, guest speakers, technology upgrades, service learning opportunities and more.
